S Korea president urging cooperation over forced labour compensation

South Korea’s president is urging businesses in the country to co-operate with companies in Japan in paying damages to the victims of historical cases of forced labour. It comes after Korea’s top court in December upheld decisions ordering Japanese companies to compensate the families of victims who worked without pay under Japan’s colonial rule. US Republicans block border and aid deal

US lawmakers have voted down legislation that would bring in new border restrictions and give aid to Ukraine and Israel. Senate Republicans blocked the bipartisan border deal and foreign aid package, by 50 votes to 49.Now, Democrats are trying to pass a revised bill which strips out the immigration measures and only includes aid. Haley beaten by “none of these candidates” in Nevada Primary

Republican Presidential candidate Nikki Haley has been beaten by the "none of these candidates" option in Tuesday's Nevada Primary. Her rival Donald Trump was not even on the ballot. The state-mandated contest isn't officially part of the Republican nominating process, and won't award any delegates. Kate Fisher reports from Washington.
