  US President Donald Trump has pardoned around 1,500 people accused of criminal activity in the riots on Capitol Hill on January 6th 2021. They include figures convicted of seditious conspiracy and acts of violence as they attempted to halt the certification of Joe Biden's election victory. Trump lays out immigration crackdown

  Donald Trump is fast tracking one his biggest campaign promises: to crackdown on illegal immigration. The newly inaugurated U.S. President says he will declare a National Emergency along the southern border, reinstate his Remain in Mexico Policy and invoke a war-time law that was last used to set up Japanese internment camps during World War II.
