Namibia has launched the annual "16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence," campaign to address and prevent violence against women and girls. Running until 10 December, which is Human Rights Day, the campaign, led by the Governor of the Khomas Region, Laura McLeod-Katjirua, aims to raise awareness and advocate for the elimination of gender-based violence.
