Unveiling of Chairman Mao Zhedong Statue at High School in Otjomuise

Today, Education Arts and Culture ministry will unveil a statue of Chairman Mao Zhedong at Otjomuise in Windhoek. This initiative, led by Dr. Elia Kaiyamo, Namibia's Ambassador to China, commemorates the longstanding relationship between Namibia and China. The school, built and donated by the People's Republic of China in 2016 through the China Aid program, will host the ceremony.Executive Director of the Ministry, Sanet Steenkamp.
