The Education, Arts and Culture ministry has confirmed that all schools will be closed on tomorrow. The 28 February closure is to allow students to take part in the memorial service honoring Founding President, Sam Nujoma. Executive Director Sanet Steenkamp shared the update.
The Education, Arts, and Culture ministry has unveiled its 7-year Implementation Plan for the Education Reform Strategy. The plan follows recommendations from the 2022 National Conference on Education, Arts, and Culture, aiming to address systemic challenges in the sector. Key objectives include infrastructure upgrades, curriculum modernization, and digital learning expansion to enhance equitable access. The ministry also emphasizes professionalizing teaching to improve the quality of education across all levels.
The Education, Arts and Culture, ministry along with Higher Education, Technology, and Innovation, will launch the Education Transformation Implementation Charter on Thursday, 21 November, at the Mercure Hotel in Windhoek. Today, Education Arts and Culture ministry will unveil a statue of Chairman Mao Zhedong at Otjomuise in Windhoek.
