In a statement, the council says attacks against peacekeepers may constitute war crimes. Six UN peacekeepers have been killed since the fighting with M23 rebels escalated. insert_link World The US launches airstrikes in Yemen The US military carried out airstrikes in Yemen against the Iran-backed Houthis, targeting five underground weapons storage facilities. The facilities were holding various weapons components used to target vessels in the Middle East.
