Cabinet approves new national airline

The Cabinet has approved the name of Namibia’s new national airline, Namibia Air (Pty) Ltd, with the government as the sole shareholder. Works Minister Veikko Nekundi said the airline is expected to launch in the next financial year. A technical committee of local aviation experts will guide the establishment and operations of the carrier.
