Blinken in Shanghai as he kicks off China trip

U.S Secretary of State, Antony Blinken is in talks with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Beijing on Friday to discuss a range of complex issues, including deepening strains over China's backing of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Hong Kong tables controversial Article 23 legislation

Days after Beijing asked Hong Kong to swiftly enact home-grown security laws, the city's legislative council has tabled a draft bill for discussion. Lawmakers say there's an 'urgent need' to pass the law and safeguard national security.
