Almost sixty million voters head to the polls Sunday as Germany elects a new Chancellor and Government. The early election in Europe's biggest economy comes following the collapse of Olaf Scholz's former three-party coalition back in November - the Chancellor now in a fight to try and secure a second term. Thousands of protestors have joined pro-democracy demonstrations in Berlin in support of a politician who was attacked on Friday. The assault on the centre-left social democrat has been condemned across the political spectrum, including from centre-left Chancellor Olaf Scholz and the Conservative opposition leader. From Berlin, Trent Murray reports.
