Modi hits out at Canada in deepening diplomatic row

Indian prime minister Narendra Modi has hit out at Canada in an escalating row, accusing the country of making "cowardly attempts to intimidate" India's diplomats. Both countries last month expelled each other's top diplomats after Canada claimed that India was targeting Indian dissidents in the country. Rebecca Bundhun reports from Mumbai.

India and Canada have expelled each other's six diplomats as ties worsen over the murder of a Sikh leader in Canada last year. It comes after Canada said it asked the Indian government to waive the diplomatic immunity of some officials who have been named as persons of interest in the murder investigation.

Canada’s designates largest marine protected zone

U.S and ‘Five Eyes’ allies warn China courting Western military trainers
