Trump suspends all military aide to Ukraine

US President Donald Trump has ordered an immediate suspension of American military support for Ukraine, just days after his on-camera argument with the Ukrainian President, Volodimir Zelenskyy. More than 10 thousand aid trucks have entered Gaza since ceasefire

The United Nations says it has reached a major milestone in humanitarian aid deliveries into Gaza. Tom Fletcher, the UN's head of humanitarian affairs on Thursday said 10 thousand trucks have entered the enclave since the ceasefire began on 19 January. “Goma Call for Peace” Demands Ceasefire in DRC

The Goma Call for Peace has been launched to demand an immediate ceasefire and protection for civilians in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Anglican bishop of Goma, Martin Gordon, highlighted the immense suffering following the M23 rebels taking control of the city, which has resulted in over 900 deaths. Gordon calls for an end to the fighting, withdrawal of foreign forces, and renewed peace talks between Rwanda and the DRC:

South Africa Calls For Immediate Ceasefire in DRC

  Minister of International Relations and Cooperation in S.A, Ronald Lamola has called for an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian access in the Democratic Republic of Congo as fighting in the east intensifies. Lamola told the media the government supports the African Union and United Nations calls for all parties to halt hostilities and return to negotiations.
