Tech billionaire Elon Musk has announced that he will give away one million dollars each day to registered voters in battleground American states. It immediately drew scrutiny from election law experts who said the sweepstakes could violate laws against paying people to register. ECN records high voter registration rates in Kunene and Oshana

The Electoral Commission of Namibia has announced a considerable breakthrough in the recent voter registration drive held from 29 July to 1 August 2024.
