Researcher Questions ReconAfrica’s Latest Oil Claims in Kavango 

  Canadian oil firm ReconAfrica is once again under scrutiny following fresh claims of an oil discovery in the Kavango region. Investigative researcher Rob Parker says the company is “repeating a pattern” of issuing optimistic statements without releasing the technical evidence needed to confirm a commercial find.

In S.A, President Ramaphosa Authorizes Probe into Insurance Claims Over 2021 Civil Unrest

In South AFrica, President Cyril Ramaphosa has authorised the Special Investigating Unit to probe the South African Special Risks Insurance Association over claims and payouts relating to 2021’s civil unrest in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.
