Walvis Bay joins youth climate action fund

Walvis Bay will join 38 other local authorities in partnering with the US-based Johns Hopkins University's new Youth Climate Action Fund. The city will receive close to N$1 million to support youth-led climate action initiatives. Mayor Trevino Forbes says the funding will advance community goals, such as meeting de-carbonisation commitments and reducing consumption-based emissions.
