NY police hone in on health insurance exec killer

    Police looking for the gunman who killed the CEO of a US health insurance company in New York have searched a hostel where they believe the suspect may have been staying. New York police department says United Healthcare boss Brian Thompson was shot in a targeted attack. US correspondent Kate Fisher reports:

The CEO of the largest private health insurer in the U.S., Brian Thompson has been shot and killed outside his New York hotel. The incident occurred outside the Hilton hotel in Midtown, where he was due to attend United Healthcare's investor conference. Jody Jacobs is our reporter. Meanwhile, the New York Police Department just announced that the killing of UnitedHealthcare's CEO was a "preplanned, targeted attack".
