A pensioner in Ou-Cordon allegedly raped granddaughter

  A 62-year-old man was arrested on Thursday for allegedly raping his 8-year-old granddaughter on two occasions at Ou-Cordon village, in Mankumpi Constituency in the Kavango West region. The incident that was reported yesterday happened at around 20h00, and the minors' mother reported the incident to the police. United Healthcare CEO shot and killed in New York

The CEO of the largest private health insurer in the U.S., Brian Thompson has been shot and killed outside his New York hotel. The incident occurred outside the Hilton hotel in Midtown, where he was due to attend United Healthcare's investor conference. Jody Jacobs is our reporter. The DA has expressed frustration over the delayed release of crime statistics for the first quarter of 2024/2025. The stats remain unpublished pending Cabinet approval. The SAPS has not released crime data since the third quarter of 2023/2024 in February.
