China accused the United States on Monday of a "serious regression" in its position on Taiwan, after the State Department updated the Taiwan section of its website to remove a reference to the independence of the Beijing-claimed island. India criticizes Canada’s ban on Foreign Minister’s interview in Australia

India has criticized reports of Canada banning social media pages of Australia Today which carried Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar's interview. This comes as India-Canada ties have hit historic lows after Ottawa accused New Delhi of being involved in at least two murders on Canadian soil. India has long denied the allegations - and now Ministry of External Affairs' spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal says Canada's ban is hypocritical.
