The FBI is warning Americans not to point lasers at suspected drones, amid a spate of flying aircraft sightings across the country. Authorities say pilots are increasingly being hit in the eyes with lights, as people are mistaking planes for unmanned drones. Sally Patterson reports from New York:
Russia launched multiple waves of drones targeting Ukraine's capital on Monday morning. Air raid alerts lasted for over five hours as air defense units worked to intercept attacks. Reuters further reports that all the drones that Russia launched at Kyiv were either destroyed by defence systems or neutralised by electronic warfare, Serhiy Popko, the head of Kyiv's military administration said on the Telegram messaging app.
