Itula Acknowledges Supreme Court Ruling but Questions ECN’s Interpretation

Independent Patriots for Change leader Panduleni Itula says the party accepts the Supreme Court's decision to dismiss the bid to nullify last year’s presidential and parliamentary elections. However, speaking to local media, Itula emphasized that while they respect the ruling, they do not necessarily agree with the Electoral Commission interpretation of the law. The nation awaits the Supreme Court’s verdict on last year’s contested presidential election results. The Independent Patriots for Change and the Landless People’s Movement have challenged the outcome, alleging irregularities in the November election won by Swapo candidate Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.
