Political Parties Weigh In On ECN’s Decision to Print Additional Ballot Papers

Electoral Commission Completes Ballot Paper Procurement for Elections

The Electoral Commission has successfully concluded the procurement of ballot papers for the 2024 Presidential and National Assembly Elections, awarding the contract to Johannesburg-based Ren-Form CC. In a bid to ensure transparency, the Commission invited representatives from all registered political parties to observe the ballot production process, covering all related costs. Women make up 54% of electorate, ECN

The Electoral Commission of Namibia has released the final voters register for the 2024 national elections, revealing a total of about 1, 449, 000 (1,449,569) registered voters, with women comprising 54% and men 46% of the electorate. ECN spokesperson, De Wet Siluka has more.     With 21,757 voters identified as having disabilities, we asked Siluka about the measures in place to accommodate these citizens.
