ICT Minister, Emma Theofelus, has urged mobile users to register their SIM cards by June 30, 2024, to avoid permanent cancellation and resale of their numbers. Despite a grace period following temporary disconnections, many users remain unregistered. ICT Minister Presents Key Regulations for Access to Information Act

Information and Communication Technology Minister, Emma Theofelus, has introduced regulations essential for implementing the Access to Information Act, 2022. Approved by the National Assembly, these regulations detail the procedures for appointing the Information Commissioner and Deputy Information Commissioner, vital roles for promoting transparency and accountability.
