Delhi and neighbouring areas enveloped by toxic smog

  Large parts of north India continue to be enveloped by a thick layer of toxic smog. While air pollution levels have dipped marginally since touching a new high of 1200 on pollution monitors, emergency measures imposed earlier in the week will stay in place. Permissible limits of air pollution, according to the World Health Organisation, are between 50 and 100. Neha Poonia has more.

Bangkok says work from home as pollution blankets city

    Bangkok city employees have been told to work from home to avoid harmful air pollution, as a layer of noxious haze blanketed the Thai capital on Thursday.
