DBN’s long-term ratings steady with positive outlook

Fitch Ratings has affirmed the Development Bank of Namibia Limited's Long-Term Issuer Default Ratings at 'BB-' and its National Long-Term Rating at 'AA+, with a stable outlook. Fitch said although DBN recorded a loss of N$270 million for the 2023 financial year due to high loan impairment charges, it forecasts the bank to turn profitable.
