The U.S economy has seen the highest number of unemployment claims since last August. The Federal Reserve has been trying to dampen hiring in an effort to get inflation under control, but the latest weekly figures may raise fears of an increased level of layoffs. Reports suggest that a group of Russians will soon become the first tourists to visit North Korea since before the covid pandemic started. North Korea had some of the strictest border controls to stop the spread of coronavirus, and is still not fully open to foreigners. Andrew Wood has more.
