Tanzanian National to Appear in Court for Possession of Cannabis Worth Close To 1 Million N$

A 26-year-old Tanzanian national is set to appear in the Keetmanshoop Magistrate Court after being found with cannabis valued at over N$800,000. According to Deputy Commissioner, Nikodemus Mbango, the suspect was arrested on Sunday at the Keetmanshoop police roadblock following a tip-off. The police discovered 16 parcels of cannabis weighing 16.625 kilograms in the suspect's bags during a search. The drugs were seized, and investigations are ongoing.
