Indian man extradited to US over alleged Sikh separatist assassination attempt

An Indian man accused of attempting to kill a Sikh separatist on American soil has been extradited to the United States. Nikhil Gupta is scheduled to appear Monday in a New York courthouse on federal murder-for-hire charges. ActionSA Criticizes Possible Cabinet Expansion by ANC and DA

ActionSA has noted reports suggesting that the ANC and DA government of national unity could be planning to expand the size of an already bloated cabinet. ActionSA’s, Samkelo Mgobozi says with 30 serving ministers and 36 deputy ministers, costing taxpayers over 146-million-rand annually in salaries alone, president Cyril Ramaphosa’s previous promise to downsize the cabinet has clearly amounted to no real intention:

The S.A Investigating Directorate has dismissed a report by Sunday World that the arrest of ANC national chairperson, Gwede Mantashe is imminent. The publication said Mantashe’s imminent arrest was linked to security upgrades at his properties in Gauteng and the Eastern Cape from Bosasa.
