S.A's President ,Cyril Ramaphosa has authorised the deployment of two-thousand-828 members of the South African National Defence Force to assist the police. This is for the prevention and combating of crime, and the maintenance and preservation of law and order during the elections. UN Secretary General condemns attack on Rafah

200 people have reportedly been killed following an air strike on Rafah over the weekend. These are the updated figures from the UN's aid agency, UNRWA on Tuesday. The UN Secretary-General has condemned in the strongest terms the attack saying he is heartbroken by the images of the killed and injured. Jody Jacobs reports from the United Nations in New York.
