  India's Supreme Court is taking up the case of the rape and murder of a doctor which has sparked public outrage and prompted doctors across the country to stage strikes. Protestors are demanding justice for the victim, a safer work environment for medical staff, and are raising their concerns about women's safety in general in India. South African Home Affairs Department has completed preparations to deport 95 Libyans

The South African Home Affairs Department has completed preparations to deport 95 Libyans arrested in White River, Mpumalanga, last month. It's believed they entered with visas obtained through misrepresentation. On Thursday, the White River Magistrate's Court withdrew their cases. Home Affairs minister, Leon Schreiber, says they will depart from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport today on a flight funded by the Libyan Government:
