Khomas Region Leads in Gender-Based Violence Cases

The Khomas region has reported the highest number of gender-based violence cases in Namibia, with 3,302 incidents from January 2020 to December last year. Following Khomas are the Ohangwena region with 1,807 cases, Hardap with 1,746, and Oshana with 1,459. Nationally, 17,669 GBV cases were recorded, with 81.2% of the victims being women.
