Donald Trump says he wants to “clean out” Gaza

  Donald Trump is facing backlash for comments proposing Israel's neighbours should take in Palestinians so he can "clear out" Gaza. The US president called on Jordan and Egypt to allow Palestinians from the strip to enter their countries after a 15-month war between Israel and Hamas. Israel's foreign minister called the proposal a "great idea". Sally Patterson has more.

Netanyahu has “warm” phone call with Trump
