Gaza health ministry and medics say 22 killed in school, petrol station strikes

    The health ministry in Hamas-run Gaza and medics said that at least 22 people were killed in Israeli strikes Tuesday on a petrol station and a school in the war-stricken territory. Rebuilding and removing all the rubble in Gaza, the UN says will cost between 500 million and 600 million dollars. This latest UN assessment comes as the war between Israel and Hamas enters its eighth month, with parts of Gaza completely destroyed. Jody Jacobs reports from the United Nations in New York.

The United Nations says it's concerned by new Israeli military evacuation orders from Khan Younis in Gaza. An estimated 250 thousand people are set to be impacted. Meanwhile, the Security Council received an update on the humanitarian situation - with UN officials calling on Israel to find solutions to enable the safe delivery of aid in the enclave. UN threatens to halt aid deliveries in Gaza

The United Nations to protect humanitarian workers in Gaza. Speaking at the UN Security Council on Tuesday, Tor Wennesland, the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process said indiscriminate attacks on convoys are impeding the delivery of aid.
