U.N says Israel not allowing educational material into Gaza

The UN's office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs fears that an entire generation of children in Gaza will be scarred for life. Speaking to reporters from Jeruasalem on Monday, OCHA's Head in the Occupied Palestinian Territory says learning materials and basic educational supplies are being barred from entering the enclave by Israel as Jody Jacobs reports.

Biden outlines Israeli Gaza peace plan

U.S President Joseph Biden says Israel has offered Hamas a "roadmap" proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza and the reconstruction of the enclave. The President outlined the three-part plan in a speech at the White House, just hours after the Israeli military said they had entered the center of Rafah. Nick Harper reports from Washington.

WFP warns children are starving in Gaza

The World Food Programme warns that children are starving in Gaza as they are not able to get sufficient aid into Gaza. Briefing correspondents in New York on Friday, the organisation's director in Palestine painted a grim picture of the situation describing it as "apocalyptic".
