France to legalise online casinos

France says it wants to legalise online casinos. The news came in the form of an amendment to the budget which is being debated by MPs. By legalising and regulating internet casinos the government says it can "limit the impact of online games on the health of consumers”. Ross Cullen reports.

The Quarterly Economic Review by the Institute for Public Policy Research has investigated whether the government has engaged in overspending related to elections since independence. Namibia to develop National Digital Strategy

Cabinet directed the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology to develop the National Digital Strategy and its Implementation Action Plan. The Namibian government received assistance from the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit and enlisted the expertise of Impact Tank and the United Nations Development Programme Accelerator Lab to execute this initiative.
