More Than 120 Killed in Shelling of Omdurman In Sudan

Reports say medical supplies are critically scarce as health workers face overwhelming numbers of injured individuals. Medical Interns Demand Overtime Pay or Halt Overtime Work

Over 300 medical interns are threatening to stop working overtime unless the government settles their outstanding overtime pay within five days. The interns, employed by the Health and Social Services ministry, staged a protest in Windhoek and submitted a petition to the Office of the Prime Minister. If their concerns remain unaddressed, they plan to limit their working hours to 40 hours per week, as per Health Professions Council guidelines.
