The number of displaced people by the rains in Somalia has gone up by 100,000 in just one week, bringing the number to close to 650,000 people. United Nations staff killed in northern Gaza

In northern Gaza, nearly 200 people were killed and injured following attacks this weekend on the UN-run Al-Fakoura school. According to Adnan Abu Hasna, a spokesperson for the UN agency for Palestine refugees, UN employees have also lost their lives in these incidents.
