US says will work with India to curb illegal migration

  The United States says it will work with India on illegal migrations as reports claim Delhi could repatriate 18,000 of citizens in the US as Donald Trump takes measures against illegal immigration. A Bloomberg report claims that though these people may have been identified as illegal migrants - the true number of Indians living illegally in the US could be much higher. Ishan Garg reports.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security has announced that the application period for student permits for the 2025 academic year is now open for prospective foreign students who have enrolled or plan to enroll at Namibian educational institutions. South Africa’s Public Servants Association's acting deputy general manager, Claude Naiker, says the Employment Services Amendment Bill may reduce the number of foreign nationals employed in South Africa but does not address the country’s skills shortage.
