NamPol Inspector General Urges Cadet Constables to Serve with Commitment

  Inspector General of the Police Force, Joseph Shikongo, has called on cadet constables currently undergoing training at the Ruben ‘Danger’ Ashipala Police Training Centre in Oshana Region to remain dedicated and serve the public impartially. Shikongo made this statement during his visit on Monday. Over 1,800 cadet constables from all 14 regions are currently in training across the country.

The Electoral Commissions Forum of SADC Countries has deployed a mission to Namibia to observe the Presidential and National Assembly elections on November 27. The 37-member delegation, led by Hon. Justice Priscilla Chigumba of Zimbabwe, includes representatives from nine SADC nations and two from West Africa for peer learning.
