Top India-China diplomats discuss normalising ties

  Top diplomats from India and China are meeting in Beijing to improve bilateral ties that were damaged four years ago following a border standoff. The two sides had agreed on a border pact last year signalling a major thaw since their armies clashed in 2020. Ishan Garg tells us more.

India and China agree to end a long-standing military standoff

India and China have nearly finished disengagement at two disputed border points in the eastern Ladakh region, where their armies had stood face-to-face for nearly four years. This comes after the countries agreed to end a long-standing military standoff along their Himalayan border last week.

Modi-Xi to hold first bilateral meeting in 5 years

India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi and China's President Xi Jinping will hold their first bilateral meeting in five years after the two countries agreed to resolve part of their border dispute.
