Health ministry conducts ongoing COVID-19 and influenza surveillance activities

The Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr. Kalumbi Shangula, said that there has been a rise in respiratory illnesses among children in northern China. According to the ministry, they are actively conducting ongoing COVID-19 and influenza surveillance activities and has not identified an increase in respiratory infections or associated hospitalizations or deaths in Namibia.
