The charity World Central Kitchen says seven of its aid workers have been killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza after dropping off food at a warehouse. The group includes citizens from the UK, U.S., Australia and Poland and the charity says the vehicle they were travelling in was clearly marked.

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk has issued an urgent warning about the deepening human rights catastrophe in Haiti, after figures showed that January was the most violent month in more than two years. At least 806 people, not involved in the violent exchanges taking place, were killed, injured, or kidnapped in January 2024.
