The Vice President of the United States is due to meet with a member of Israel's war cabinet in Washington to discuss how to get humanitarian aid into Gaza. Kamala Harris and Benny Gantz are also expected to talk about the need for a temporary ceasefire. According to Gantz's office he will also meet US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
