The vote was first scheduled for Monday but due to "intense" negotiations between member states the vote has been postponed several times. United Nations ceasefire vote delayed amidst last-minute talks and Israeli shift

Last-minute negotiations have postponed a UN vote on a draft resolution for a Gaza ceasefire, as Hamas leader plans talks in Egypt. Egypt and Qatar facilitated a truce last month, resulting in a week-long ceasefire and the release of hostages.
