Taiwan coast guard to harness ‘people power’ to report Chinese activity

  Taiwan's coast guard says it would offer rewards worth thousands of dollars for spotting Chinese activity at sea, including warships or submarines, saying it was harnessing "people power" to boost its own limited workforce. North Korea fires multiple ballistic missiles toward the sea ahead of US election

  North Korea on Tuesday fired multiple short-range ballistic missiles toward its eastern sea hours before the US presidential election, the South Korean military said.
