GOP clinches U.S House of Reps

  US President-elect Donald Trump will command a trifecta of power in Washington after the Republicans secured a clean sweep of Congress. Having won last week's election handedly, his party also flipped the Senate and — it was confirmed on Wednesday — narrowly held the House of Representatives, giving them control of the White House and both chambers of the legislature.
