Palestinian Authority requests full membership at the UN

The Palestinian Authority will be requesting full membership at the United Nations later this month. According to UN protocol the Security Council will have to put this request to a vote before the General Assembly can approve it. Petrol and diesel price increases

The Mines and Energy ministry has announced a petrol price increase of N$1.52 per litre, effective midnight. Additionally, both diesel grades will see an increase of 72 cents per litre. Stella-Maris Amadhila, an economist at the Ministry of Mines and Energy, provides insights on the matter.
