Environment ministry donates debushing equipment worth N$300 000 to Nampol and NDF

Hippos stranded in Zambezi region due to severe drought

Over 130 hippos are currently stranded in the muddy waters of Munambeza Pond in the Zambezi Region, as the region continues to face the devastating effects of a prolonged drought. Angolan national trampled by elephant

An Angolan national has died after being attacked by an elephant in the Uukolonkadi-Ruacana conservancy. Ministry of Environment, Forestry, and Tourism, spokesperson Romeo Muyunda says that the deceased and others were attempting to chase the elephant from a field.
