Mining professional Stanley Kambonde has praised the late President Sam Nujoma’s commitment to unlocking the Kunene region’s economic potential. Speaking to NewsOnOne's Envaalde Matheus, Kambonde revealed that Nujoma personally funded his studies in oil, gas, and mining law in the UK with N$400,000.

Environment Minister Pohamba Shifeta says the national budget could not support the late Sam Nujoma’s vision of mandatory national youth training. Shifeta, a former deputy youth minister, recalls being among those assigned by Nujoma to help draft the National Youth Policy.
