Man Dies After Alleged Stabbing with Traditional Knife in Kavango West

59 year-old Phillip Lirunga passed away  in Mamono village, Kavango West Region, reportedly stabbed with a traditional knife by a known suspect. The Namibian Police Force confirmed the incident occurred around 19h30. The suspect remains at large. Johannes !Hoaeb, 39, from Ombili informal settlement in Otjiwarongo, died from injuries after his shack burned down on Monday morning. !Hoaeb, who appeared intoxicated, had asked his mother for matches before the fire broke out.
