Nelson Ashipala of the Namibia Civil Aviation Authority says operators must familiarize themselves with regulations and ensure they have the necessary permits.

No Privatization: Wildlife Resorts Sets Record Straight

The Wildlife Resorts has rejected speculation that it plans to sell or privatize its lodges. The company assured the public that it remains under government ownership and is only conducting a strategic review to enhance efficiency. The audit process, according to NWR spokesperson Nelson Ashipala, is routine and should not be misinterpreted as an attempt to transfer ownership.

NWR Updates Shuttle Service in Sossusvlei Area

Starting today, Namibia Wildlife Resorts will change its shuttle service operations in Sossusvlei. The shuttle will no longer operate from the 2x4 area and will exclusively depart from the Sesriem Campsite. Clients with existing bookings to Deadvlei will now be ferried from Sesriem, and new tickets must also be purchased there.
