Rocket attack kills three in DRC

Two Congolese soldiers and a Romanian mercenary have been killed in a rocket attack in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo. A Congolese security official says the rocket landed at their military base in North Kivu province over the weekend. Chris Ocamringa has more from Kinshasa.

Over 80 killed in Eastern Congo Attacks

    More than 80 people have been killed in a spate of attacks over the past week in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Violence displaces 5.7 million in the DRC

Clashes in the Democratic Republic of the Congo have now uprooted 5.7 million people across north Kivu, South Kivu, and Ituri province. In an alert, the UN Refugee Agency UNHCR said that the violence has reached a devastating new level.
