Federal prosecutors have indicted New York Mayor Eric Adams for allegedly soliciting and accepting illegal campaign contributions, charging him with bribery and fraud. The unsealed indictment claims that foreign nationals with influence over Adams provided him with gifts and favorable treatment before seeking benefits they believed he owed them. Mitch McCann is there and now reports:  

  Police in New York City have raided the official residence of the mayor Eric Adams. It comes after he was indicted, following a year-long investigation into his staff and administration. It is the first time a sitting NYC mayor has been indicted. But New Yorkers say they're not surprised.
