Last Blood Donation Clinics of the Year Set for December 14

The final Saturday clinics for the year will be held on tomorrow 14 December, in Windhoek, Walvis Bay, Okahandja, and Oshakati, with donations accepted from 08:00 to 15:00 at various locations. The Namibia Blood Transfusion Service encourages all healthy individuals aged 16 to 65 to donate, and in return, donors will receive a festive gift as a token of appreciation for their lifesaving contribution. 30 New Peace Corps Volunteers Sworn In

30 new Peace Corps Trainees were sworn in at the town of Okahandja, starting their two-year commitment as Health and Economic Empowerment Volunteers. Since 1990, a total of 1,886 volunteers have worked on community projects across Namibia. With the addition of this group, 60 volunteers are now serving in regions from Lüderitz to Katima Mulilo.
